Team West Indies proved their worth in the first One Day International while beating India all ends up by a big margin of 124 runs that will boost their confidence during rest of the tour. The batting of the Caribbeans revolved around Marlon Samuels who blasted his sixth hundred in the limited overs game and second against the Blue Shirts. The home batting collapsed against the calculated bowling of the Windies that was supported by excellent fielding. Hi Folks,
We lost in 1st ODI thanks to overall superb performance by West Indians. Despite all the discouraging events they manage to play in their free spirit and emerged victorious. Indians were caught napping or may be they have been playing too much of Cricket. I expected better performance from Indian bowlers specially from spin arsenal but they disappointed. It was humiliating defeat for Indians which is rare but happens occasionally.
I had very high hopes from Raina who never disappoints me but when boat is sinking all go down with it. I'm not sure why they keep including Ambati Rayudu in the team. There are plenty of talents available for selectors to choose from and all they pick is this dhakkan. I just can't 'watch him playing he is bad omen for India. He might shine once a while but he is not the one to rely at the top. I need Robin Utthappa to be included instead of Rayudu.
Kuldeep Yadav should have been included instead of A Mishra. He is stil mystery and he can stun West Indians till they figure him out. Selectors must pick Yadav for Delhi match.
Robin Utthappa and Kuldeep Yadav will make ODI team well balanced and India's chances of winning will improve as well.

Delhi's pitch is not high scoring and don't expect much from batsmen. It's bowlers paradise and when it comes to bowling India outranks West Indies by miles. India and West Indies have played only one ODI at this ground back in those days when West Indies were at the peak and they were terrorizing the whole world. India lost that ODI in 1989 thanks to excellent all round performance of legendary Viv Richards.
There are not more terror left in WI team now a days and they are more prone to defeat than accustomed to victories.

If you don't have Passport or Driving License then you can't use any online bookmakers or eWallets. Never in million years a weak batting team like Pak at the moment should bat first after winning the toss. India v WI me batting first aur second ka sawal nahi hai. Again I'm not buying the fact that India matches are fixed. Fixer can influence few players and fix few balls overs etc but not entire match. To loose entire match you have to buy all 11 players + coach + selectors which is highly unlikely these days. Back in the days of corrupt Azharuddin it was always possible to fix the matches.
WI player Marlon Samuels have been charged for passing information to bookies in the past and banned for 2 years. He is in WI team now. Again passing information is one thing and loosing a match entirely opposite.
India humiliated England in last series, this was not match fixing but a fact that it's hard to defeat India in ODI anywhere in the world.
When India looses an ODI match it's due to incompetence of all of it's players rather than good performance of opposite team. No matter how many runs you score, India has the capability to chase it down anywhere in the world on any given day if they are inspired. Inspiring Indian team is the main problem. Indians are always charged up against Pakistan that's why they (almost) never lose against them.
It looks like Ravi Shastri has to get into action before it's too late and inspire our boys to maul already down West Indians. If WI wins the series then India should better stop playing Cricket all together.
I still believe that WI doesn't have a bowling line up to restrict India. In batting department both are equally matched from top to bottom.

As I said it's low scoring ground. It's highly unlikely that WI batting first can put up 300+. If India bats first and few of players get into form then they can go beyond 300+. It's India's own home ground. Most of our boys are from North India and have played a lot of matches there. They will be at ease at FSK ground. This pitch also helps bowlers, spinners so It will be in India's favour. If it's one sided in favour of India then you will hit the jackpot. If it goes against India in first half then you still have few hours in the other half to green up or cashout.
Ishant Sharma will replace Mohit Sharma which can be either very good or worse for India. Ishant did shine in few matches in England. It's his home ground too so he might shine. However he is more of miss than hit. Out of 10 matches he will sink 9 and may be save 1. I'm not counting on him. Bhuvnesh Kumar's home town is not far from Delhi and it's also his home ground. Same goes for Shami. Amit Mishra is also from Delhi and it's home ground as well. Kuldeep Yadav is still doubtful but I would give me a chance in this ODI.
Weather is wonderful during this season in Delhi. It's going to be around 33°C in the evening when match starts and cools down later. No rain predicted, sky is clean and it's a perfect day for a perfect ODI match. Delhi is always 100% packed for ODIs.
I've lived in Delhi for many years and watched many of matches played there.
If you put all my analysis together and build a complete picture then you will realize yourself that India is clearly favourite to win.
Put 80% of today's winnings (Pak v Aus) on India at around 1.5 and chill out. Even if you lose you are still 20% in profit.

If bookies odds are far way better and unmatched with online bookmakers then it's fixed match. Bookies will have inside information and they will change odds to make money. Whereas online bookmakers will not have this information and their odds will be stable and predictable.

Chase mushkil hai WI ke liye. If Indian bowlers don't do mistakes then it will be very tough for WI to chase on this pitch. you have already seen how difficult it is to score at this pitch. Boundaries are not coming easily and WI are not good runners, they only deal in boundaries.

My prediction for 200+ passed.
WI bowlers did very good job in restricting India and their execution of the plan was superb. Good effort from our Delhi boys with bats as well. India fell short of at least 30 runs but given the pitch's conditions this is a defend able score. Now it's down to our bowlers to do the rest of job and choke WI before they start get going. At the moment match is still in India's favourite however given the firepower WI have it can be anyone's game.
As far as I'm concerned I'm already in good profit on trading at BETFAIR.com. It was not great trading but good to end up with profit at half time.
Another prediction came true. WI failed to chase 250+ score once more. Indian bowlers did extremely well and their discipline finally paid off. As I predicted Amit Mishra excelled with his spin and gave a lot of troubles to set WI batsmen. Dhoni did mistake to give 2 overs to Virat Kholi, he might have sunk the boat. He should have 2-3 overs to Suresh Raina.
