The focus will be on Victoria Azarenka, her health and competitive persona but Belgian Kirsten Flipkens is not a player to take lightly. This could have been a third round pairing last year and is certainly the best Ladies match of First Wednesday.

Flipkens is an impressive 11-4 in a light schedule this year. Victoria is 18-8 and showed promise in Paris. The former word number 1 is trying to recover from a 2013-2014 meltdown that saw her take time off the court to find herself and her game. This match will tell a lot about how far she has come.

Azarenka will need her focus to down Kirsten who has advanced to the 4^th and 3^rd rounds respectively in Australia and Paris Grand Slams this year. We think Victoria is ready to break out and make a run on Wimbledon’s grass. But, this one could go three sets and tell us a lot about the draw.
