This promises to be the best women's match of the day with two Americans facing each other late on Day 2. Venus is on the decline but playing competitive tennis and Sloane must feel disappointed with her play this season after a promising start in 2014. Stephens has a running controversy with Serena Williams but has never faced sister Venus head to head. A powerful athlete, Sloane's 11-9 record this year has seen her plummet to the 40th WTA ranking. Meanwhile, Venus has rebounded after an injury plagued year last season. Relying on more than her serve, the elegant Williams sister is 20-9 in 2015 and has climbed to contender status as the 15th ranked tour player. Venus was runner-up here back in 2002 but has not challenged on clay since. Stephens has been more consistent, reaching the fourth round each of the last three years.

Anyways my prediction for this is a tight win probably in two sets for Venus Williams....although Sloane is in good form and Clay is not the best surface for Venus but she is more dynamic and much more Slam experience.This will be first encounter between the too and a interesting one

English will bore everyone to death than risk anything, they haven't got balls. What if NZ gets them in less than 10 overs or so? It's just last 4 wickets. There is little risk element here. my guess is wicket will fall quickly. In any case I'm all greened up with £6k on all 3 outcomes. No need to mess any more. Will have to take a break.
